539. Kaki
As the kaki at my place have ripened and looked almost falling down, I picked up one.
Very sweet. That's why mejiro and hiyo come to eat.

538. Toti-no-ki
Looks like Autumn is finally coming.
At Ao-ba no mori park in Chiba.

537. Chiba age / Chibanian
Visited "Chiba-section" whcih has got famous with the "Chibanian".
The site is situated at a bad footing as in the photo. I went down by changing shoes to the ones for mountain walks. That was a correct choice.
It is said that there is a stratum indicating the geo-magnetism reversal immediately below the starting point of Chibanian.
As the photo shows, cubic markers aligned vertically show the strata.

The site explanation is as follows.
# The section with red markers is the stratum when the geo-magnetism had been reversed.
# Yellow zone is the transition period between the reversal and the following reversal to the present.
# Green indicates the stratum with the same indication as the present.
536. A hyoumon butterfly
During taking a shot of a turtle seen at a nearby brook, a buttefly called, tumaguro-hyoumon (blacktip leopard-pattern), appeared.

535. A basin
A basin beside Funato bridge.
Looks Autumn is setting in。
The point where Moroto river flows into Inba marsh.

534. Looks not so delicate
Sagi found at a nearby paddy field.
They surround the combine despite the movement of the weird looking machine and its roaring sound. Probably frogs or the likes come out by the harvesting.

I also see many times a flock of muku-dori (starling?) chase a working tractor in the winter.
The wild birds look not so delicate as we consider.
533. O-sonae (offerings)
Today falls on the jyuu-go-ya o-tuki-san (harvest moon) to quietly enjoy the beauty of the Selene.
I went out a bit far and brought susuki grass back home for the offerings.

532. A harvester
A machine I saw at a nearby field today.
It seems the one called Kon-ba-in here (conbine) and reaps rice and discharges the chopped stalks behind.

531. Higan-bana
This time of year reminds us of the higan-bana. So we visited Ketien temple in Inzai.
The flowers are just blooming. However they are all neatly cropped as in the photo. For this particular flower, I prefer those left untouched as in the wild.

530. A premature drop
Found a persimmon dropped to the ground this morning.
As those fallen by the physiological shedding were all gone before the summer, there might be something awkward in this particular one.
